OUR MISSION is to improve the quality of life for anyone who needs support and to reduce the stress, depression, isolation and economic hardship of their caregivers.

Sheila Warnock never planned to be a pioneer in reinventing caregiving for the 21st century. It was a series of personal caregiving experiences that led to the publication of Share The Care in 1995. Following another group experience to help her late co-author, Cappy Capossela, at end of life, she made the decision in 2003 to abandon her advertising career to establish ShareTheCaregiving Inc. and update the book for its second edition in 2004. Today, Sheila teaches the evidence-informed Share The Care™ model/philosophy to professionals, individuals, faith communities and corporate caregivers.

Sheila has personally trained over 1,600 health professionals in 11 states and SW Ontario and introduced the Share The Care™ model to hundreds of thousands more in 16 states where it has been adopted by individuals, hospices, health organizations, community groups, faith communities, and hospitals. Share The Care books have, for 23 years, guided hundreds of thousands of people to create and maintain groups in 48 states and 13 countries. Her most recent training was in 2018 for LifeSpan and NYSCRC. (Book rights are owned by ShareTheCaregiving.)

Sheila has received many awards including: 2011 L’Oreal Paris Women of Worth Honoree, a 2012 Local Lady Godiva Honoree, and in 2013 she received a Daily Point of Light Award for her dedication to service. Other awards include: The Maggie Kuhn Award; GOOD HOUSEKEEPING and L’Oreal Paris named her one of “50 Over 50 Women” who are changing the world; In 2018 she was named a Caregiving Visionary by CareGiving.com.
